InvestED is here to help students at Meadowdale MS!

InvestED provides funding that supports the efforts of secondary schools throughout Washington state. They partner with 660 schools and assist more than 16,500 students with small amounts of short-term, item-specific, need-based funding – items such as shoes, coats, glasses, sports equipment, and academic fees. Many MMS students have benefited from these funds!

With help from InvestED we can provide immediate help for students in need. The goal is to encourage students to stay in school, return to school, or get involved within their learning community. To learn more go to  http://www.invested.org/whoweare.aspx

About me :
I've spent many years working with children and families as a social worker, therapist and family advocate, and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. What I enjoy most is working directly with kids in schools, along with providing parenting support and education. Being a parent is the most challenging job we will ever have, but the rewards are limitless!

I have a daughter in high school, a son in college, a husband who is a librarian, and a dog named Kylie. When I'm not racing to my kids' soccer games and performances, I love gardening & landscape design, listening to music, and creating artsy things .
