Food Drive May 9-May 19
Meadowdale Middle School ASB is collecting canned goods, non-perishable dry goods, donations, and gift cards to stock up our local food pantry. Nourishing Network provides food assistance to many families in our community. Some of their programs include Weekend Meal Kits, Summer Meal Program, Pop-Up Pantries, and Holiday Meals.
Each item is worth 1 point. Each dollar donated is also worth 1 point.
-
Homerooms are competing to see who can collect the most House Points. The winning House earns a House Party on June 22nd!
-
ASB students will collect food items from Homerooms and count up points each day during the Food Drive. Students can drop off cash, checks, or gift cards at the Main Office during Homeroom.
-
Write out checks to MMS Parent Club. Parent Club will be collecting all the money and writing one big check to the Nourishing Network.
-
Gift cards are welcome, especially for Kroger stores (QFC, Fred Meyer).
-
A great way to collect donations is by “posting up” outside a local grocery store with a friend or family member for a couple of hours.
