Middle school counseling and working with students has been a passion of mine for quite awhile.  Going into double digit years in the Edmonds School District as a school counselor, I love the energy and stage of development of middle school students. Whether it be working on academics, personal/social needs or coaching students, I get my energy everyday by working with our students. Being able to see my students grow and move on to high school is something that motivates me to do what I do.

If I'm not working at school, I'm usually training to run a race, spending time with my daughters or fixing my house.  Also, as my students know, I'm really a big middle schooler at heart.  I'm also a avid sports fan.  Growing up on the east coast, I root for my Eagles, Phillies or Sixers. Go Birds!

I have been working as a middle school counselor since 1999. I enjoy the chaotic energy of early adolescence. Helping students and their families through this period of growth and development is very rewarding.

My personal interests include travel, water sports and a variety of other activities with family and friends.
