Mission Statement
The mission of Meadowdale's Library Media Center is to provide a welcoming, resource-rich environment where students, staff, and the community can become effective users of ideas and information and where literature and technology together promote lifelong learning.
Staff
Maria Mondo-Boardman, Library Information Specialist
Maria taught 7th Grade English at Meadowdale for seven years. (1999 - 2006) She graduated from the University of Washington's Library Media Specialist Certificate Program in the summer of 2006 and was hired as our librarian. She has lots of favorite books but her current one is : Better Than The Movies by Lynne Painter.
Hours
7:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday **No Study Club bus available. Students can find books or work on homework before or after school.
Note: Friday is an early release day. Library is not open for study club.
Rules/Procedures
1. No gum or food allowed. Water okay.
2. Come with a pass during the class day.
3. Books are due in 3 weeks from checkout. Email notices are sent out to families once a week.
4. Students can checkout 3 books at a time, unless a student has any overdue books or fines. Students with fines can still check out 1 book at a time. If you need to pay for a book, you can do so in the front office or at this site.
